Sharon Needles, the biggest star to have emerged from RuPaul’s Drag Race was booked to perform at Menergy. I couldn’t wait to start designing the poster. Much to my dismay, I was sent the over-used promo photo from the TV show by her agent which has been all over the internet for about a year. I wasn’t sure I was allowed to mess about with this image, but I did anyway and it was approved.
I decided to use The Seal of Lucifer from the Grimorium Verum to break up her face as one of her catchphrases is ‘Hail Satan!’.

Kill Star Clothing commissioned me to design a flyer for their trade show. They had seen my Sharon Needles design for Menergy and wanted something in a similar vein as their latest collection was inspired by the dark and the unorthodox.

I took lots of hints from the Kill Star Tumblr, a spooky and stylish pinboard of all things satanic and magickal.
